Quercus was founded in May 2002 and is located in the Scottish Borders just south of Edinburgh. We offer an Architect led design and build, or design only service, for a range of buildings in the Rural Sector.

Our experience covers farm buildings, diversification, equestrian projects, holiday accommodation and golf courses. Whilst we will design to your needs we do encourage you to consider using materials in a sustainable way and to investigate alternative energy options where appropriate. We have extensive knowledge of timber and are often able to source it in Scotland for our projects.

For larger projects Quercus is able to offer Structural Engineering, Waste Management and Project Management alongside Architectural Design as a one-stop shop for farmers.
